Decent game from him tonight.

Gave the ball away a few times, a couple of fouls here and there and a couple of excellent tackles. Can't fault his work rate either.

One thing I have noticed is his ability to pull off great tackles whilst sprinting. That's handy, right?

Worse game than against Wales, very good man-marking and the ability to tackle in sprint, but appereantly needs to adapt to this speed of the game. With his skills I think by January it will be done.

After watching him play against Bale and against Hazard I don't understand how anyone can not be excited about Besic. Isn't Origi supposed to have crazy speed? But Origi couldn't outpace Besic in a 1v1 in space on the left wing. Only thing about Besic is he looks a bit lost in the attacking third, but in the other two thirds of the pitch he's all sorts of useful.
