Never seen a first touch like that for Everton in my life. He needs pegging down a notch or two and made to realise who he is playing for.
Unfortunate first touch of the ball. But I agree I think this could turn out to be a valuable lesson.

It's not unfortunate though is it? That would suggest he was unlucky. He tried to play like Zidane in his own half, deliberately. I hope he gets a good dressing down for it.
 
id rather he do it today when the game was gone than at nil nil against the [Poor language removed]...cos he certainly wont do it again

There's a time and place to be clever trying clever flicks like that,and today at that score when fans would not be happy is one of them,trying it at like 3-0 or something is different if we ever get a 3-0 lead lol but all is forgiven when you have comical defending like ours
 
If anything he'll learn that there's a time and place for stuff like that in future.

Not concerned. Young lad in an important position, mistakes will most definitely be learned from.
