Let's look at some bargains we've signed in the past: Lescott - bought for £4.5 million, sold for £23 million. Arteta - bought for £2.5 million, sold for £10 million after we got the best out of him. Timmy Cahill - £1.5 million - what a bargain. Seamus Coleman - £60k..... Leighton Baines - £6.5 million. Jags - £4.5 million (or Beattie and Naysmith, and a pittance, LOL)

Wonder why nobody else stepped in for them? Doesn't mean they weren't brilliant signings.

Maybe all in for £4m but considering the Hungarian leagues never sold a player for anything like £2m I'd be stunned to think we had to pony up £4m straight off.

What we've bought in the past has no relevance to what we buy now any way, to much being put on this kids shoulders already. Let him get develop and grow he's got time on his side and will get plenty of opportunities there no point anointing him yet after 45 minutes.
