In Eastern Europe we study English since first grade (Primary 1-2 for the UK folk). At least in Bulgaria and Serbia, AFAIK, but probably the same everywhere else...Bosnians will always learn the language, so it's no wonder that Besic speaks English very well. They aren't like the players from other countries, who plays even more than 5-6 years in England, and even can't speak a word english.![]()
About bloody time to!

that IS boss! Says he'll be playing in midfield (not defence), comes across really well and confident. Nice that he says Martinez was key in getting him and is very complimentary about Bobby Magic
Yeah, felt he repeated himself but with slight variations on the questions a couple of times. That interviewer has a habit of asking the same question 2 or 3 times, but rewording it slightly.

Maybe he was tbh, think you are right, but I think it's pretty much beginning to be the same for German kids (I am basing this on the one German person I've asked)....thought he was raised in Germany, but probably have that wrong. Thing that impressed me was that he did not want to give a prediction, its more important that his performances do the talking. Great answer that, I reckon he's a real winner.
