Not familiar with Grantchester's accounts, but wealth and money aren't quite the same thing. The Glazer family is reportedly worth $2B+, but doesn't seem have much cash laying about.

Now those Mansour and Abramavich guys seem to have more than a little spare cash.

Agreed

Sickening

Seriously, get the miserable sod out of our club. All that money and we're still struggling like this?

How the hell does Kenwright get all the stick when this wopper is on the board and contributes nothing? He could clear the debt at the blink of an eye

Its well known granchester won't put anything into the club with kenwright as chairman

Kenwright also gets people like Earl on board...you know that fella who owns planet hollywood which brings into question how the feck we have zero presence in the USA even after Tim Howards heroics in the World Cup.

Kenwright and every useless cart hes brought on board are useless. The sooner people accept that the better, then we might not have 100+ pages on players for £4M that we havent even signed.

The big clubs dont take a chance on players, they would rather pay 30m for proven talent than gamble with 4m on giving a squad number to a player that MIGHT make it.
For a player that might make it, 4m is very risky for a club like ours. The only saving grace now is that i trust Roberto's judgement on a player. Seriously though, you DO actually see clubs buying players that have shined during a world cup. Europes biggest clubs do it every time and quite often, paying well over the odds. This is a lad who has a relative low valuation to trigger his clause.

I had never even heard of him before the world cup, i will have to admit.

4m is nothing money.

We spent 3m on Stones in the hope he would make it, he looks a good player and it sounds like Bobby was scouting him pre-WC, when he signs, 4m is gonna seem like a steal, with the attributes he has, I dont consider it even a risk.
