It was a more than adequate reply to your question, plus it’s no as if I just became a Everton supporter November 2018. He was compared to fan’s favourite Tim Cahill on one of those quotes, suppose I wouldn’t know if Tim Cahill was a fan’s favourite though as I only joined the forum in 2018 lol

I think Besic scored one goal for us. And has been crap.

Sigurdsson has been very crap but has actually scored match winning goals and done some tangible stuff.

Besic better than Sigurdsson is a ludicrous shout. Just accept neither is good enough but there's a reason one doesn't even train with first team.

Besic is a defensive ball winning midfield whose job is to win the ball back and give it to the more theoretically creative players.
Siggurdson is one of those more theoretically creative midfielders whose role is to attack and score. Of course there will be a difference in their output. The question is why the manager has decided to shoehorn one player into the others position.

I suspect clubs are waiting for his contract to expire to pick him up for pittance.

We'll probably end up paying his contract up tomorrow. Today is one last chance to get someone to take even a percentage of his wage from us. If it doesn't happen and we don't name him in the 25 man squad which is highly unlikely we may as well just stump up his wages and then he'll no longer be our problem if he picks up an injury.
