He didn't say that though! I think its a more than fair assessment to say that Besic has more ability than Schneiderlin, that doesn't mean he is more usable than him though because Besic also has major flaws in his game which has resulted in him having the career he has had.

Deulofeu has tons of ability but he is at Watford for a reason, it's the same thing. Ability isn't everything, you need the correct mindset to succeed.
Geri is on loan and a pretty high level European club. His long injury did for him, and probably also sent WAtford down. If he had not got injured, I think he would have been handy in the squad at Everton. A better option than Iwobi, and I think Carlo would have liked his style. I can just see a fit Del Boy coming on for the last 20 to sub a tiring James R. But it was not to be. Del is one of those that you expect to make something happen. Good luck to him,he lit up Goodison on occasions...just ask Lukaku !!

Oh I'm not having a go at him or anything, just pointing out that pure ability is not the only thing that makes a player a success.

Muhamed Besic has been made available by Everton but did not find a new club in the latest transfer window

Mo Besic will not push for a move to the last major European league with an open transfer window and instead wait until January.

The Everton midfielder was this week confirmed as not being included in the Blues' 25-man Premier League squad for the remainder of the first-half of the campaign.

Yannick Bolasie was also omitted from Carlo Ancelotti's squad list.
Clubs re-submit squad lists following the closing of the winter transfer window in February.

All of the major leagues around Europe have now shut their windows but the Portuguese transfer market remains open until Sunday but Besic is set to remain with Everton and train at Finch Farm for the time being.

Come January, Besic - who will be into the final six months of his deal at Goodison - hopes to have found a new club.

Rangers were interested in the 28-year-old during the international window but an agreement was unable to be reached and it is unclear if they will re-open talks ahead of the January window.
