In all seriousness he works hard, has passion, tackles well, passes well, dribbles well and is quite skilful.

The issue he’s always had is he has a BIG mistake in him.

I think everyone liked him cos he's that old fashioned EFC player who seems to fight hard, tackle hard, work hard, but then ultimately isn't quite good enough. Bit like Big Dunc! Imagine if Besic had scored in a derby, he'd have a statue. Seriously though, he's frustrating - looked like he could have been a really good player, if not for injuries and that tendency to give the ball away, and give away free kicks / bookings.

To be honest mate I’d miss him more than all my exes added together. It’ll be like losing a limb.

I do remember that very first touch he did when he came on as a sub. Does anyone remember? That pull down, turn and pass upfield?

My last significant ex, I still harbour very fond feeling toward. Unfortunately, opiate and alcohol addiction proved too great an achilles heel, and, at the risk of mixing Greek metaphors, the wax of the wings of our relationship, could not withstand the heat of addiction's sun.
