MSP Sports Capital

I'd imagine MSP would be interested in Evertons ability to pay back the loan, so would like to hear any updates about how secure we are in the PL?
Sure, but the first part of that post says we are paying them back this month, at which point we have no relationship with them at all. So the outcome of the appeal would be irrelevant to them, even if we already somehow knew it.

Investors have been notified that Everton Football Club will be paying off the loan to MSP. The payoff is to occur on or about January 15th. This is in anticipation of a 777 takeover on January 30th.

MSP has also been told by the Club that they anticipate the points deduction to be reduced to 6 points.

Where are these dates coming from?

What is taking so long?

I hate the idea of 777 as owners

Do you think the PL are trying to save us ?
- must convert 777 loans to equity
- must repay MSP and R&M loans
- must be able to complete the stadium
- must be able to fund rest of season (to be fair they are doing this)

The PL are forcing that the purchaser is putting the club on a firmer footing. Repaying debts (or converting to equity) this killing the interest drag that we have on income

We didn't have much interest on the books in 2023, I haven't read the accounts but I assume the capitalized a lot of it and much/all of the interest for the MSP/777 loans is after 6/30/23.

Moshiri would have been approved under the current rules I'm sure back when he took over. However, we are seeing what happens when an under-capitalized ownership group owns the club. That's what 777 are and that's why they face so much scrutiny, to avoid something like what we're going through now to happen again.
