just cos you live in oxford that doesn't make you a learned scholar, or mean that you wear big flares with pockets on the side for that matter:D
it was gce's when i went to school anyway, and no i didnt do geog. as i did the technical subjects:D
i am the forums travel advisor though (unofficially like)
oh and crowd coordinator as well(also unofficially)

Are you trying to tell me that flares with big pockets are out of fashion? Let me tell you, I've been wearing them since 1970 and they look as good now as they always have...:D
 
thats cos you cant get the 8 buttons on the waistband undone:lol: and they look the same cos they are polyester, are they cack brown or green ?


They're brown, my favourite 1970s colour. And btw, now I'm in my fifties, I can't get the buttons to do up in the first place, let alone undone.

This is in danger of becoming a thread about my lack of fashion sense and school days from long ago.

We shouldn't lose sight of Mrs Esk's achievement - well done...

THINK OF ALL THE EXTRA CLIMBING GEAR SHE COULVE CARRIED IN THOSE POCKETS THOUGH !! or chalk if free climbing, thus saving the need to castrate a rhino for a chalkbag
 
Exciting news :)

Mrs the esk and I have secured places on an expedition to Advanced Base Camp, Everest (6,340 M ) in May 2010 :)
