Yes, you were told that the annexe was no-go because of that very fact...but you ridiculed anyone who was telling you it.

Nice one.

You've got the memory of an Elephant! And quite possibly the schlong too.

Is this Moyes`s way of Putting That, as Touted` Big Scary Pressure on the Board for finance then, They must be shaking in there boots of what he will say next

The fact that this is being muted and you can only guess deliberately just about sums up the business brains emanating from within the Everton hierarchy. If scratching one of the most famous sporting names in the world from the face of the earth for 2 million tops a season is the best way you think to generate that extra income then I am totally destroyed by your wanton corporate greed.

This really. Possibly the only thing left to pawn out and it'll be done shoddily by the current regime.

"Club could do that because it owns Goodison."

I hope it stays goodison until we either rebuild or move. Only then could I accpept a name change.

Haha you ok mate?

Yes mate. I don,t know were Colin Fitz finds the strength to keep fighting the fight when the majority of the fanbase are not arsed.

If the club do well in the league fine, if it goes to hell...then the fans had a big hand in standing by and do nothing.

Everyone would still call it Goodison anyway.

To start with everyone would but the next generation would start to use the new name and part of our history would be eroded.

It's an awful idea and shows how out of touch the people that run our club are.

Exactly. The same people will try and also exploit (for commercial purposes) the traditional aspects of the club too. Shameless hypocrites if they are going down that road.

They'll do anything to resist selling or watering down their shares.

We can get whatever we'd fetch in naming rights in one fell swoop if these control freaks in the boardroom would go for a share issue and undwrite it. They dont want that though. No dilution of their shareholding - they want a massive pay out if or when someone or group comes in with a major offer.
