Moyes Watch @ Real Sociedad

Don't blame that performance on the tragic passing of a club legend, please. Disrespectful doesn't even cover it.
It's anything but disrespectful. I could give a flying one about the result yesterday, it's immaterial in the context of Howard's death.

Maybe that disgraceful charge should be levelled at those pissed off with losing to United?

When Moist gets the sack he should lay low for a season.
He should.

After that he needs to rehabilitate himself in the Championship. He's lost any standing he had in the top flight. It'd be a real gamble for any PL club to take him on. The world's moved on since Moyes got acclaim for cheap buys. That's not needed so much now that ALL teams are flush - and he certainly doesn't offer a team tactical improvement.

Maybe there's some more badges Moyesie can take to improve the strategic side to his management? Being just a Sgt Major doesn't cut it anymore.

What a crock of sh1t.

He needs to win something or finish in the top 4
.
Plodding along isnt really the same as NSNO Dave.
to be fair mate in two years he has added barkley stones besic lukaku Deloufeu Mccarthy Galloway into a first choice 11. add possibly henan holgate Rodriguez mori into possible successes in time and you have a manager who is doing a he'll of a lot right succeeding a manager who was happy to play centre halves and past it full backs in midfield.

I'm not an advocate like @davek and I hold my hands up and admit I would have sacked him in march for how bad we were. but I'm happy to back a manager who us clearly doing a lot of good swapping out older players for younger ones.

even osman is swapped out, distin and alcaraz replaced. bit by bit he is doing it and the only player I have been disappointed in cost practically nothing from Russia. give him time mate, we not turn into world beaters under him, but even if the squad split, the amount of money they would generate being sold could easily replace them again.

Its no good having the finest ingredients if you dont know how to cook.

at least martinez could win a trophy with a team bad enough for relegation. moyes couldn't do it with two possibly 3 phases of his own squad.

so unless you can guarantee success with a a new manager then it's better to stick with a guy who has track record of winning the Chelsea finals when his predecessor couldn't.

plus the fact that in two years time, martinezs own team could be top class considering the potential!

on topic I disagree that moyes should take time out if he is sacked and if he is given an out of sociedad then he should grab it. At least in this country he has chance to go back to basics and do the job he did for us. Over in Spain he can't lock the team up for a season without the fans turning on him. that's how he will do his job, essentially a allardice move to guarantee progress

Good post mate.

So with the sack incoming, our former ginger Davie looks like joining "The Recycled British Dross Managers Club". Going from club to club a la other members of this illustrious society like Steve Bruce, Mark Hughes and Martin O'Neil to name but three.

That Lady Karma is a perra isn't she "El Jengibre Davide"
