his problem will always be he hasn't got a winning mentality, he has for a great stability mentality.

I was a big fan of Moyes, but it did get to the point were it was best for all parties to move on.

He will always do well were ever he goes, but I thinks trophies will elude him

Bumped into Moyes in his hotel lobby in San Sebastian. He's enjoying himself, looks super fit and was far more jovial than I recall him being whilst at Goodison. He didn't say he misses us lol

Spain is a better test of what he could do with a club. I think there has been something like 10-15 different sides to get C-league football over the past decade. Plus sides like Sevilla and Athleti can even compete for a title. The only side that consistently was able to make the C-league with a sane transfer budget has been Arsenal and they even had to change. For all the deserved plaudits that Soton has gotten this year, they'll probably finish 7th.

Watched their game last night. Any Moves masterplan out of the window in the 2nd minute thanks to a headed own goal. Looked threatening rarely. Looked like they were happy to "get out alive" at times though Atlético are a very very good team and the result was no shock.
