A stab in the dark but maybe because he screwed kenwright, the club, players and the fans by being tapped up by fergie

Also he is [Poor language removed].
Fair enough.

He's just beaten Barcelona, though.

As I said, I'm not advocating him, just saying I can see it happening.

Great result, but before Moyes went there they beat Real (4-2) and Atleti (2-1) at home and Barcelona havent won there in ages.

As for Moist, good luck to him. In twenty years time he will probably be remembered more fondly by Evertonians than Martinez will.

Moyes is like Pulis++ - a modicum of entertaining football (at least at home) and an ability to get a team away from the basement into the lower reaches of the upper half of the table (usually 6th to 9th of 20). No mean feat in itself but built on a fine record at home and a highly conservative one away from home. His job is half-done already at Sociedad now they are in 13th place and looking at La Liga table only one win away from 9th and 5 points off 8th (Malaga in 7th are 12 points away). I wouldn't mind betting he gets them into 8th place but, once they start expecting more from him after this season's "miracles" it will all go pear-shaped and, the next time they get 1 point from 6 games they'll be sending him on his way.

I said this before he went to United - he's a real asset to have when things get tough - most of our good runs came on the back of dreadful starts which seems to prove he thrives on adversity but fails when expectation is thrust on him (just exactly what happened to him at United really!).
