but to be honest it has always intrigued me as to what players moyes rated. If he had ended up at villa/newcastle then i expected to see the likes of anichebe follow him there. It would be funny if he came in for our players at all in january, or if we farmed our deadwood over to him for a tidy profit after hand picking our choice of his.

New contracts mean nowt, ash.

What makes me see Mikky as a likely target is the fact both he his wife are from the area and she has long wished to return home.

I'd say it will be a move more likely to happen in the summer, if at all, on account of Arsenal's likely involvement in the CL after January and I think Arsenal will be giving their squad a big shake up next summer.

I think Baines would have more chance of trophies at UTD like Rooney definitely furthered his career by going there, laughable to suggest otherwise I would say.

The irony is Real Sociedad have pedegree in the modern game to challenge up there. They may not this season but this is the team that almost won the league in the 21st Century, that have got into the champions league last year and in a league where anyone from 4th down can do well.
