Cuchillo a un tiroteo
Alex Ferguson advised him to go there.
So does this mean Alex Ferguson was managing Everton between 2002 and 2013 by proxy?
Hope he knocks Real Madrid 'Off Their Perch'
Some of the Gash posted on here about him makes me embarrassed to be an Evertonian.
I think Baines would have more chance of trophies at UTD like Rooney definitely furthered his career by going there, laughable to suggest otherwise I would say."Leighton Baines should be allowed to leave to further his career (sic)"
- David Moyes

Fortunately Baines is a good egg.

Which isn't really the point.
Moyes would rightly have done his nut if any manager had said that about one of his players as he tried to buy him at a knockdown price.
We know this because of how incensed he was when he did his utmost to deny Lescott the chance to go to Citeh where he had a better chance to win trophies.
(although given his general Uriah Heep obsequiance when it comes to Ferguson maybe he would have driven Baines to Manchester himself happen Ferguson had "advised" him that Baines would "further his career" by going to OT)
I'm not disagreeing with any of that outside the brackets and I was surprised by some of his behaviour after he left but thats football and I ain't gonna act like a spurned schoolgirl over it. He done a decent job for us which is being proven once again as we struggle in the Prem after the premature calls that he held us back all those years.

We are "struggling" in the Prem?
