Moyes Watch @ Real Sociedad

He wasn't interested in the youth when he was here, why would he be interested now.
Sociedad are meant to have a good youth squad and little money to buy first team regulars, he might have to be more interested in their development just to succeed.

Anyway, I thought of him as more reluctant to use the youth in the senior team rather than uninterested in the youth squad overall. He certainly scouted and brought quite a few good youth prospects even in his later years - Stones and Garbutt for example.

Love the way people are chattin about sociedad fans like he werent here for 11 years with very little complaint until the last couple of years lol

He's looking around for assistants. Apparently Neville turned him down, and I dont think Round is being mentioned. I dont know what his relationship was with Ferguson beyond bringing him back into the fold, but if the big galoot is serious about an unlikely career in football management then he should be looking to enquire about teaming up with Moyes.

the thing is, you can throw all the bitter stuff about reagrding moyes but is it not better to see him do well?

I'd hope he had a good career away from us because for all the negative things people now have he did put some foundation on where we are as a team now. He did a good job, could have done better but good. I hope he gets sociedad into the europa and if we end up there get drawn with them. I t will be nice considering how often do we play teams with our former manager in charge? Joe Royle (city) Kendall (oldham) Smith (no) Walker (no) Harvey (no) Lee (no) etc. We are so good to our managers that people forget that we have never had someone jump ship or dump us for a better role ala most teams these days.
