Moyes to west ham

If Spurs had scored early on they'd have won easily. The goalie performed wonders.
West Ham showed a lot of spirit and caused Spurs some problems at the back late on.
I can see our upcoming game at Wembley going along similar lines.

I think Moyes is doing a much better job there than I would ever have predicted. I can see him resurrecting his career as a serial relegation fire fighter for the next few seasons at least. It might well suit his temperament and personality too. It's a tricky to do job, that only a brave few can do. That elite being Tony Pulis, Big Crooked Sam and now Roy Lazarus Hodgson. Now that's a fab four we all can agree on...

I'm not really a Moyes fan, but I think he's doing well with what he's got. Against Spurs, we only had 2 senior outfield players available on the bench, both of them strikers. The rest were kids who's first team appearances I could count on one hand.

I loved Bilic, but he and Sullivan have left our squad so depleted of talent, competition and determination it's no wonder we are where we are. For example, we are still continuing to player a striker who on several occasions has said he wants to leave West Ham, in one instance personally arranged a medical with another team behind the club's back and in a separate instance actually refused to play. That's what Moyes is working with.

Like I said, it will be interesting to see who he brings in, if he will be able to bring in anyone if his at all. Unfortunately I have a feeling that Sullivan will open Football Manager 2011 and bid on players who are now too old, free or just not needed.

The latest player we have been linked to is Steven Caulker who recently had a poll carried out by QPR fans on which arrest of his they thought was best; I think "stealing cheese" narrowly won.

I heard a quote yesterday from Carvalho at Swansea saying he'd be buying shrimp instead of lobster in January. My first thought was Moyesie listening, going "damn, I wish I'd thought of that, that's better than shopping at Aldi, or knife to a gunfight" lol
If West Ham were a supermarket, they'd be a pound shop.

Can you imagine explaining to a kid what Vibro the West Ham mascot was supposed to be as he buzzed down the touchline after a goal?
