It always annoyed me that Moyes keeping us in 7th was seen as some sort of footballing miracle by the footballing press.

Don't get me wrong he did well for us but our wage bill was around the 7th highest.

Think it was mostly to do with consistency, which is difficult...look at us now, we've spent a hell of a lot more in recent years and can't find one ounce of consistency.

The commentator on MOTD2 said Moyes was managing his 500th EPL game and that landmark had only been reached by three other men.

Ferguson and Wenger are pretty obvious.

But I cannot think who the other one is?

Arry?

Moyes press conference:

When asked what makes him sure he is the man who could turn West Ham around, David Moyes replies: "I could talk about the old days or I could talk about the future. "I could talk about winning manager of the year three times or I could talk about getting the biggest job in the world."

...or he could have talked about taking the biggest job at the biggest club in the world and turning them into a laughing stock...or almost destroying Real Sociedad....or relegating Sunderland...

I think Moyes is a glass half full man.. of glue.

They are in serious situation here. Obviously they can't get rid of Moyes during this season if it would get all out nightmare for them.

If they cant win next saturday at home they might get relegated I think.
