What? He is totally different player than Osman . Not a big fan of Jenas, but he would help us, probably more than Huddlestone (whom I really like, but he would only work well as back up for Arteta).

I'd take Kallstrom, I rate him highly. He's like a Swedish version of Gareth Barry, I think he can play outwide at a push aswell.

I saw Kallstroem in the past playing wide in 4man midfield, but he didn't play like this for years (maaaaaybe NT being an exception). Lyon is playing 4-3-3, so he is/was one of the 3 Cm's there... or was playing as left back .

I've seen Kallstrom, he's no Valencia. That being said Kallstrom is decent probably about 3-5M cheaper than Valencia. If we are going to 8-10M? route which I'm guessing Kallstrom would be I'd probably check and see if Standard Liege wants to invest in more Kenwright bonds by sending us Defour. Fellani and Defour..again we'd be the biggest thing ever in Belgium.

Bring in Jenas would be a luxury that we couldn't afford. RW, a striker who could stay healthy and a playmaking CM is the priority. He's too much like Osman, only more injury prone. We have CMs who can score (Osman, Cahill) and defend (Rodwell, Neville). We need another like Arteta who can spearhead the attack.

1. Excuse me - but why you are comparing classic winger (Valencia) to versatile central midfielder (Kallstroem)?
2. The difference in prices for Kallstroem and Valencia will be much bigger IMHO, wouldn't be surprised if big club like MU or Real will pay over 15mln for Valencia. Can't see Kallstroem being sold for more than 6-8mln.

It was sounding like you wanted to Kallstrom to play out wide too in the previous post. Getting a classical RW, I believe is our No.1 priority.

I think our 2nd priority is getting someone who could step in for Arteta. Arteta is going to take a long time to recover and even when he comes backs he's going to get kicked and knackered alot. Depth at the position is a must though probably we can't afford 8-10M part time starter.

I woudn't complain about Kallstrom coming here though.
