Moyes Though ?

We are the only Club who will hold onto a Manager despite long periods of unrest.

If you think about it, only City and Arsenal have held onto their managers in this time, and one of these will be gone by seasons end.

Only clubs with entitled Kopite mentality fans pander to that mob rule.

If there's one good thing this board has done (and it is only one thing too) it's to refuse to be budged by keyboard chairmen who have an obsessive agenda on the manager situation.

Love how people bring up Moyes, complaining that Bobby is wasting our best squad in years and won't drop his favourites (Howard) when those were two of Moyes' biggest problems before he left us! Short memories.

Dear me Dave, do you read before you post.

If I say that sentence three times, close my eyes...I instantly picture a Cat Lemon or a Lemon Cat.

Mate. Its been deja vu on here last couple of months.

There were certain other unnamed Everton forums that were actively campaigning to get 'dithering dave' out.

When the football is exciting but mistakes are being made by players - not performing they want Martinez out.

Its beyond ridiculous.

My view this manager just needs to kick off and boot one or two players onto the bench. Howard and Stones I'd drop kick right now.

Anyone think joe Royle could do a job till the end of the season. Hugely respected by players and fans alike. Produced some great football in the mid 90s with a talented bunch including Andrei and limpar. Not as talented as this current squad that Roberto has managed to get everyone (including supporters and media) wondering how they are in the bottom half of the league.

This is the problem though. Martinez is reluctant to make those changes required. For instance miralles being left on the bench for months whilst Kone was played out of position on the left. Martinez finally saw the light with this, maybe he will do so with Howard, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Stones need's a kick up the rear end. He has talent. He is a good player....not yet remotely great - give me Ratcliffe or Mountfield any day - but good and capable of better but he should be glued to the bench for a game or two.

What's he doing anyway? Showing the Madrid or Manchester moneyboags what a player he is?

Has Robbie the cojones to give the like of him a rocket up the you know what?

Mate. He's almost 70 years of age. The 1990's was almost 30 years ago.

I would say. Yes. Martinez is.

People forget Martinez is a young manager still in his early 40's

He needs to boot one or two players. The nice guy persona isn't the only persona he needs to have in his locker to win things.

Certain players will think they can get away with things.

Irresponsible actions have consequences. Moyes never used to mess around. I'm not saying Martinez needs to go the other side of the spectrum and become Moyes-like which was utterly ridiculous in itself.

However, fear breeds respect from slackers who think they are bigger than EFC.

One or two right now I genuinely think do (need a booting). Back passing like idiots.

Yeah because its that easy, drop a few players and everything will be back to how it was before he came in and ruined things. He has tried that already, with Mirallas and Naismith, has it worked? Nope.

Kicking off wont do him any good, who is he to even try? A nobody with as many relegation's on his CV as cup wins. Top managers who can demand and should get respect, who have a proven record can do that, the likes of Alex Ferguson, not no marks like Roberto. What is he going to say anyway? They are doing what he is telling them to do, which evidently doesn't work, every time the players play it out from the back to look pretty and put ourselves under pressure they are doing that because they are told to, i bet they don't like it any more then we do.

As for dropping Howard he is going out of his way to make it clear that wont be happening, no mater how much the fans and everyone else with eyes want him to.

Mob Rule or the results you see with your own eyes. There's no agenda here.

The equally obsessive mentality do nothing in the face of entirely questionable performances, particularly in this day and age, is the greater risk.

Martinez success in creating the seeds of a top side is completely undone by his tactical naivety, and as a truly results based endeavour, is failing to address the basics in the most open competition we've seen in 25 years.

How many opportunities squandered will it take?
