It's important to remember that there are actually only two managers in the world: Moyes and Martinez.
Never forget that lads.
Never forget that lads.
you put him forward as someone better than Martinez based on little evidence.ive hardly proclaimed him the new messiah by quoting his name
I'd hold ya hand.Id rather hand myself to ISIS
Moyes would never in a million years have built this squad so impossible to say mate.
Moyes bought half the squad we currently have. He also brought Yakubu, Arteta, Cahill, Lescott, Fellaini, Baines, Coleman, Jagielka and Stones to the club. I don't agree with this notion that Martinez has a special quality that allows him to attract better players than other managers. Moyes brought in just as good players with a lesser budget, and I still absolutely maintain that our 07/08 squad and maybe the 08/09 squad was better than what we currently have.
Everyone is cry arseing about Bobby but not one person on here has yet come up with a viable, realistic replacement. I asked yesterday whether Brendan Rodgers would be an option.... thread was immediately shut down. I understand why ... to a point.... but at least it was a reasonable, realistic ( in a "he's available" way ) , option. Somebody please give me another option ??? Moyes ??? been there done that.
Like i have said before there are some managers worse than our Roberto. Hard to believe isn't it ?.We should get Mark Hughes and his defence lock, stock and barrel. Fortress Goodison!
Oh
Let's get him back then.
Lucien Favre
Viable - Out of work
Realistic - Works well on a budget, fantastic with young players
Reasonable - Happy to work on 'projects'
See below article, Monchengladbach supporter thinks he'll be perfect for Everton.

His time at Hertha BSC was overall a success. Despite being sacked in September 2009
I don't agree that we should have him back. But I also don't agree that Bobby Martinez has worked some kind of miracle just because he brought a young Lukaku and a young Deulofeu to Everton Football Club. Everton have been buying top quality players for years, and other than the aforementioned two star players, Martinez' signings have been nothing to write home about. Our first choice back five are still all Moyes' players.
