It isn't good Ghost. I'm in agreement with you.
But many on here are acting as if this is IT.
That we can't improve from here and it's a HOPELESS situation when everyone one of us, deep down, KNOW that it isn't.
Yes, Ghost, even you know it isn't hopeless.
If/When we get to that hopeless point, I'm sure we'll all be up in arms about it and speculate until the cows come home.
But we aren't there yet.
I'm with you on that. Some people are being a bit to melodramatic about the whole thing.
Essentially we need players. We all a agree on that fact. Its inevitable we will get injuries leaving us bare.
But in hindsight look at the team we have minus Carsley its the same team that brought us to 5th.
Now i'm sorry but Johnson and Fernandes offered very little last season and filled in when needed.
If and when we get cahill, Hibbert, and Anichebe back that will releave our stand ins on the bench. Then theres Vaughan also.
Again i defo agree we need to bring in more quality but i do not agree that we will get relegated with our current squad.
Just look at Portsmouth. Thumped 4-0 by chelsea. Ok Chelsea were fantastic but Arry Redknapp spend an absolute fortune and brought in quite a few. To tell me they couldn't play better is nonsense.
Then we have the mighty Spurs humbled by an average Boro side.
Only Villa came out smelling of Roses. So only 1 of 4 so called challengers for 4th [Poor language removed] up on day 1 (thats including us).

When you learn to communicate properly on this forum and play nicely with others, you'll be allowed back on. 7 days currently with admin option to lengthen it.
Perhaps reading the forum rules might be in order for you in the meantime.

So when is that hopeless point? 10 days time? What about tomorrow when we have 9 senior players?
We lost to an average Blackburn side because we have a poor squad, simple as that. We had nobody to come off the bench and take the game by the scruff. We have players on the pitch who are obviously affected by what is going on at the club.
So to say it hasn't happened yet when we are already in the season is daft. 3 points dropped against Blackburn at home, could be vital come the end of the season.
