Moyes: third parties complicate things

Oh you're right.

They could happen, easily or not.

But they haven't happened and yet people are moaning as if we are in that situation RIGHT NOW.

We aren't.

People are moaning and quite rightly so.

We've went into the season completely unorganised, a left back on the wing, a 17 year old in midfield, a midfielder upfront, a centre back in midfield and a bench full of kids. That's not right and something should have been done.

A game we would have pissed last season against Blackburn we ended up getting beat, they walked all over us, dominated us on our own patch and that isn't a nice thing to see.

We've yet to sign anyone, we have key players injured and as it stands one first team striker.

The board or the manager, whoever it is has put us in a very risky situation that could stop us progressing. We have a tiny tiny squad, we have a week to get 5-7 players in and even then they'll have to adapt and work themselves into the team.

If we beat Arsenal 5-0 you would get nothing but positive views for ages, everyone would be made up and that's all we'd talk about. But because these views are negative people are moaning and telling others to spot. What's the point in having a forum then, I don't get it.

I'm a realist, it's quite obvious that something is wrong and the club at the moment isn't doing there job. There isn't a club in a worse situation at the moment in our League.

This was a perfect chance to progress and kick on, all that hard work could be put to bed by the clubs inibility to do transfers and sign players.

Yeah sorry mate, its all good, loads to look forward to. All the excitement I had at the end of last season has been doused down by a non-existent pre-season.

This club isn't going forward, there is no indication on the pitch that we are going to be able to cope with a full season.

Simple as that. Its not rocket science.

I wouldn't bother mate. Its usually to no avail.

Best post in this thread by a long shot. Surely anyone who takes exception with the views expressed is in Lala Land & are airbrushing their own reality. We are in big trouble so why the [Poor language removed] shouldn't we express that in our posts?

Bruce Wayne: you're coming across as a namby pamby fool & YOU are certainly someone I wouldn't want with me in the trenches judging by your blatant airbrushing of the current situation, WHICH YOU CLEARLY CAN'T HANDLE. "But everyone's moaning. Why can't we all get along? It could be worse." Wimpishness of the highest order despite your best protestations. If you can't handle the empassioned nature of the vast majority of football supporters than I suggest you join a [Poor language removed] ballet class.

My tuppeny's worth. I'll not be responding to any correspondance in this thread.

Moyesy says: "It is one of the toughest times I have had as Everton manager."

Dont worry everything is fine.

Theres your reason why he hasn't signed his contract. In my opinion he has finally lost his patience with it all.

Lost his patience at what exactly? I guarantee he'll have been given at least £20m to spend, consistent with his general transfer budget in recent seasons.

Regardless, he's had a budget & it's his job to get on with it: the squad is already down to NINE fit senior players & clearly needs beefing up with numbers. If Moyes is now too arrogant to keep looking hard for the Cahills, Artetas, Howards, Lescotts & Pienaars of this world then he'd be better off going NOW rather than leave us in tatters a few months into the new season or next summer. He knew the situation when he was handed his budget at the start of the summer. No point acting like a spoilt child because he can't have that sooperdydooper Ninja Turtles toy he wants for Xmas.

There's this misconception that Moyes is suddenly in the process of outgrowing Everton which is absolute [Poor language removed] horseshit. If this is true, then what club of similar stature to ourselves & beyond would he have a hope of getting a job at?

Everyone's entitled to their opinions. Personally can't see much point in griping. Then again can't see much point in raving about Osman's goal against Larissa last season again but I'll keep on raving
What a [Poor language removed] goal!!!!!!!!!

...and yet you feel the need to have a go at other people's opinions while saying "I won't be responding."

Might want to look in the mirror pal regarding "namby pamby fools."

Good start here on GOT Blue Arsed Fly. :dodgy:

I'm still looking for the fact based statements in this post.

I'll let you know when I find one.

QUOTE]

No one know what he has to spend. I reckon he doesn't have 20 mil anyway. Every interview he says we need to invest in new players. Well why would he keep driving that point if he has that cash. I can't believe he is too feckin lazy too spend 20 mil.

If he was happy at his job he would have signed the contract by now without any second thoughts. It doesn't appear to be greed driven as he would have walked along time ago as he knows the satte of our finances. So what is his motive for delaying it?

As for his demeener I am making my opinion on the basis of his interviews in which he always seems down and out. You can tell he tries to remain positive but there is something eating at him. He is clearly not happy at the club.

Now i never said because he has lost interest he has stopped trying. I am just stating because of all of the [Poor language removed] the club is going through that just maybe he doesn't have the passion for the job anymore.

TX Bill, do you honestly believe that this club is going to be successful this season? Do you think we are going to push for 4th spot?

Right now? No. Never said we would. In the "Where Do You Think We'll Finish" thread, I believe I said around 6th to 8th as things stand.

But I don't think the situation is near as dire as people are making it out to be.
