Just tired off the same old from Moyes, he seems to miss things that are so blatantly obvious to anybody watching the game, and seems to be stuck in his ways.

We can't afford to sack him but I'd say let's not renew his contract.

Just out of interest, if the business you worked for was being run poorly, not expanding, not performing to it's best, and some of the staff were unhappy about it, but you were in a decent position in the workplace and getting a healthy wage, would you be open about it publically (or even privately)? Or would you tow the company line?

Seems to be the situation Moyes is in now. I'd be looking after my mortgage like.

When you get your two most influential, exciting and creative players snatched from you then a more boring brand of football is what happens, people seem to think we're worse than what we actually are. Moyes will get us top 7 again this year, but it's galling to think how close we were a few years ago, if the board would carried on giving Moyes 10 million to spend each summer without sales like they were up to the cup final, then I think we might be looking at an Everton side in and around the top six, equal to Arsenal and Liverpool at least, but not only did that not happen we are now losing our best players and not replacing them, despite us fans being promised that even if we don't sign anyone, we will keep our best players, but here we are having not just lost them but we are still being told we have no money. So my blame for our lack of progress is completely aimed at our inept board, Moyes is the man for Everton if we want to remain a top-half club.

You're right lad, but if you were unhappy about not being able to fulfil your ambitions would you just hang around for the money or would you have the confidence in your own ability to walk away and try your luck somewhere else ?

Moyes doesn't strike me as the sort of person who splashes his cash around. I'd guess he has a fair amount stashed away for a rainy day and if the situation at Everton frustrates him then he could just walk. Maybe he thinks he'll get the cash to do the job at EFC, and hopefully he will, but if he's just going through the motions then it'd be better all round if he just walked.

Having said that, I went for "Cheese on Toast" too and will stick with that for this season, but, sooner or later, Moyes has to decide if he's just working towards his pipe and slippers or whether he wants to push himself.

stick with him for now for a couple of reasons, 1. we're feckin skint and can't afford the pay off and 2. we're feckin skint and can't afford to give a new manager money for new players. In his defence he must be feeling fed up with all the sh1te going on with the crap board, pissed off fans and players out and none back in mess that the board are allowing to happen. It's only natural for him to appear as tho he's lost heart, a large chunk of us feel the same way.

If he doesn't make any changes to our current style of play by January, I think it would benefit the club to have a new manager inject some invigorating change into the club. That or get a couple attack-minded coaches to take on more of the tactical duties, and have Moyes focus more on youth development and transfer duties, which he is good at generally.
