Lots of variables to get things right. Also what are people expecting from us? Top4? Only 2 games ago some genuinely thought we might get champions League. Surely Moyes should take credit for that kind of turnaround considering where we have been recently?
As I've said before the league has been lacking this season quality wise with many teams not playing up to their expectations so Moyes economical style which works on percentages has born fruit to a degree but as seen he hasn't got the mentality to go for the kill when the opportunity arises due to his cautious nature much like how Arteta hasn't had the mentality to go for the kill when the opportunity of the title was there for the taking

Fair enough. I am happy with stability this season. Of course I want us challenging for Europe regularly too. There's a lot of teams expecting the same. Also look at some of the teams who have had several managers this season due to lack of patience or unrealistic expectations. It's a crazy place now the premier league. Not easy to find the right manager for the club and the right players.

I think the fans want to see a manager who's prepared to be more bolder in team selection, match tactics and general mentality. We know what Moyes brings and his limitations. Some fans want stability and are happy with Moyes risk adverse management which is competent but lacks the extra oomph to go further upwards but stays nice and steady without too much drama. Some fans want us to push beyond wantingthis and to have a more entertaining style of football which if done right with a good manager may yield us a trophy or breaking into the European places on a regular basis. It's a case of stick or twist in essence.
Think both spurs and west ham demanded the same now look where they are. Newcastle fans wanting rid of Eddie Howe and Arsenal fans wanting Arteta out. Whole world has gone impatient and crazy in my eyes.i suspect many people may have wanted frank at Everton based on his relative success at Brentford. He was a disaster at spurs.

Which teams have unrealistic expectations in your eyes?

Spurs were right to sack Frank as he started the rot. West Ham quite rightly expect to be higher than where they are so again the manager change was justified. Newcastle have hugely underperformed and Howe isn't good enough for a club of their aspirations. Arsenal fans I agree are harsh towards Arteta but to be fair he has them playing ugly football which is unnecessary with the talent they have.

Good question. Weirdly Arsenal who seem to think they should win the league in a more exciting fashion and think they are somehow favourites for the champs league. Newcastle seem to think they should be top 4. I have friends who suppo Brighton who think their manager should move on. Forest, Palace. I dunno just feels like a lot of fans from a lot of clubs seem to demand instant success without seeing the bigger picture in terms of how uneven the playing field is. I'm not saying I'm right just my observations

Every team seems to think they should be in the top 6. Only 6 teams can be

I wonder if the adverts for football showing it as this non stop action packed sport and charging high prices has fooled people into expecting too much. Quite often football matches are very dull for large parts even with flair players

2 bad results… West Ham are in a relegation battle and they have beaten a better side in the last minute. It simply reminds me of when we beat Brighton unexpectedly..

Moyes is still the man and I think we’ll still get Europe

True but Spurs have no business being in the relegation zone, Newcastle have no business being bottom half and West Ham would expect to be midtable I'd imagine. Cheatsea another underperforming team. Even Man Utd with their expenditure should be challenging for the title. Our loveable neighbours have underperformed this season too.

I think with how football has been commercialised fans see their team as a badge of honour now and it coexists with their sense of self worth hence why patience is very low generally now. Not to mention the social media content and YouTube fan forums which fan the flames of supporters discontent

where are you getting 2 bad results, we were 1 last minute equaliser to 4 straight defeats if we hadn't scored v Brentford.

The word bottle jobs from a moyes team again as per his last 10 years here
