I am, trust me. I'm not revelling as much in the 13 draws, though, many of those in games we should have taken the three points. We could and should be higher than sixth. Just my opinion, mind.

4 of those were Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Spurs.. Here's our lower team results:
Lower teams we won against:
QPR
Stoke
Reading
Oldham
West Brom
Bolton
Cheltenham
Newcastle
Wigan
Reading
Southampton
Leyton Orient
Villa

Lower teams we got a point against:
Villa
Southampton
Swansea
Stoke
Norwich
Fulham
QPR
Wigan
Newcastle

Our lower quality defeats this year:
Wigan
Norwich
Reading
Leeds
West Brom

Not that bad really is it?

But one would expect, given the teams Moyes has been able to build, that we would have won at least one frigging away league game at one of those grounds in the last 11 years. There is no such thing as the law of averages, so you tell me why we're winless at those grounds over the last 11-plus seasons.

One wouldn't expect that because nobody has ever done what Moyes has done in the Premier League.

The fact that there is no such thing as the law of averages is probably the best explanation as to why we're without a win at those grounds over 11 seasons (until tonight!).

13W, 9D, 5L. More draws and losses than wins. If we assigned pts it would be 48 pts from 26 games, which would be a decent enough record if it were against all sides in the PL. Ofcourse really you should take the cup games out, but I couldn't be arsed.

We've only lost 7 of our last 50 league games, going back to last January - which is an amazing stat.

Indeed it is.More draws than we'd all like but thats life. I bet we haven't lost many by more than a goal either.

Amazing? Hardly. Arsenal went a season without a league defeat. That's amazing. 7 defeats in 50 would roughly equate to 5 in 38 games I think. Equivalent to what the top two will likely achieve this season and did last. Less than any other team for the last 4 years. So clearly a very good achievement, when taken on its own. In the context of all the draws in the same time it doesn't look so impressive. Ofcourse, that stat could change dramatically in the next few weeks, or it's achievement become more impressive.

Not sure if its been mentioned...but we should have had a victory away against Chelsea (back when they had that ridiculous unbeaten home record) - but for our last minute goal being wrongly ruled offside

Hate that type of thinking though, 'IFs' and 'BUT's' doesnt matter, the reasons for why we didnt win, end of we didnt, thats in the books, otherwise you start analyzing every game and then comes the if we had this decision or that one we'd be top by 10 points threads lol.

and think the sky 4 just refers to the oringinal BIG 4 at the time moyse first come in, and yeah the records been shocking especially vs the shote and arses, who havnt been that goodfor quite a whilst...

flip side of the coin, we own city and decent against spurs, so go figure the reason, i cant lol

That would include newcastle, who we have a decent record against. Chelsea finished 6th in moyes first season behind leeds, and liverpool finished 5th in his 2nd.

The only sensible way of looking at the statistic is whatever 4 teams are in the top 4 that year, and we have won games away against them if we go by that.
