The problem with Moyes is that he may well get your team competing in the right half of the table...but that's it.

The man is a serial bottler.

I was almost in the 'anybody but Moyes' camp over the summer.

….I think that was exactly what Moshiri was after, a safe pair of hands whilst the stadium was built. A more progressive appointment next time.

Free transfers are typically crap hence why they aint going for £50 million mate.

Townsend was a free transfer and has done well so 2/3 on a £1.7m budget after we've spent over £250 million on Iwobi, Kean, Tosun, Klassan, Bolasie, Siggurdsson, Sandro, Gomes, Delph, Schneiderlin, Gbamin etc isn't bad in my book.

The fella hasn't been backed, has been here 5 minutes and has just 2 of his own players in the starting 11 when everyone is fully fit (and those 2 have been 2 of our best players so far this season).

Anyone who seriously wants this fella sacked just so we can appoint someone else to also struggle with this same group of players once injuries hit is a Blue Geordie imo.
Who said sack him?

Yep, without doubt.

You could argue he has that with Benitez, with the added bonus of having no qualms at all about clearing house of mediocrity, like he did over the park.

I'd have Ronko Moonhead back over the fat Pigman.
I'd have Gravy Tits back over the fat Pigman.
I'd have Mike 'kin Walker back over the fat Pigman.

A dyed in the wool kopite has no place at Everton

Get him to f...
At least you're honest about the reason you don't want him.
I'd wish some other critics 'preferring' Dyche, Alladyrce, Bruce or Chris Hughton on 'footballing reasons' were as honest as you.

Cheese on Toast. Silly and pointless comparison tbh. Forgetting what either has accomplished in their past which is a lot different, Moyes has had almost 2 years at his club to settle down and build and definitely should be doing as well as he is doing whereas Benitez has had 1 transfer window with virtually no money to spend and 9 competitive matches to sort out an unfit for purpose squad that was extortionately assembled by 4 previous managers and all bar 1 were sacked for being absolutely cack.

Benitez needs to do better but is definitely going to need a lot more than 9 matches to sort the mess of Everton out. Ditto for any Manager who came in.

Moyes was a dinosaur before he went to WHU and relegated Sunderland with no decent track record since Everton job.

Benitez was a dinosaur, went down with Newcastle with no decent track record since the Chelsea job.

Maybe the gobshites in the fanbase should pipe down and give the fella time and see him bring HIS own players in like Moyes has done there - Soucek (£18 million) Coufal (8 million) Bowen (£17 million) Behrama (£25 million) Zouma (£25 million)

Benitez has had £1.7m to spend.

Some right mugs in our fanbase thinking any manager can do much with our squad outside of DCL, Richarlison, Doucoure, Mina, Allan, Gray in which 4 of them have been out for weeks this season leaving us with crap replacements.
Digne should be included in this as with better players around him he is undoubtably world class. He’s got F’all to work with

Deffo … but it’s a valid question I think. Moyes has proved that when given time and a little backing at the right time he is quite good at fashioning a competitive team, do we give Benitez the time to do that here or would fans prefer to boot him and replace yet another manager.
I’d keep him and go for stability
