Moyes linked with Villa and Spurs

I think it's safe to say we're nearer the end of DM's reign than the beginning but for the life of me i just can't fathom a move to Villa, all respect due to the club, but they're at the very best more or less in the same part of the league as us,it just doesn't make any sense for Moyes to go there.

The big 4 yes of course becuase that'd be a step in (in terms of spending power at least)but to move sideways is nonsensical,i do however expect Hughes to get the job becuase while he's no Fergie in the making he's a solid enough premiership manager.

You've spent vastly more than us for years. And yet what have you achieved recently. A cup final, we did that. A cup semi, we did that too. And as for the league, you've only finished higher than us twice since Moyes took over. Don't act like it would be a great step up to move from us to you.

Sings: "Are you Damon in disguise?"

Haha. Seriously though... KAPOW.

Sasa Milosovic wasnt he another big money flop, Mark Draper was in and around five, im surprised Merson, Benitto Carbone and Ginola werent either.

Not sure like just going from Memory.

Can anyone give me an intelligent, non-biased answer to this question? If we are skint and all that nonsense, why, WHY and HOW did we buy the Premier League's most proven goalscorer for 18 MILLION POUNDS whilst your apparently better off clubsat on it's hands and hoped that your unproven league 1 signing Jermaine Beckford would come good? Our board murdered ambition ten years ago.

When Kenwright finally sells the club short for magabucks what are they gonna say about him? That he was a kind man? That he was a wise man? That he had plans, man? That he had wisdom? Bull****.

Ok. Fair enough you saying that. But can you back your claim up with a source?!
Our resident sourced up guy is saying it isn't happening and we are more likely to beleive him with a proven track record than you, a random Villa fan. Surely that makes sense?

Oh yeah of course it does. If the boot were on the other foot then I would do the same. But that wan't the point of my post. My post was in reply to the Martinez b4 Moyes question and I merely stated that it made sense to approach a man who was in the country who was on our radar b4 a guy who is in Barbados. A club draws up a list of candidates and assess the merits of all of them b4 making a decision. There is no eveidence that Villa went all out to get Martinez, he was merely a candidate. Surely THAT makes sense too?

Sense to approach a man who was in the country ?
That's a sad excuse mate sad,Martinez was approached by Villa with a view to appointing him as your manager. (period)
The reason Lerner would love Moyes at villa is,Villa need a manager who can survive on a limited budget in the prem.

You should rule Syria: same application mate...whereas Lerner is American and he knows through money how to curb insurection without violence....in laymens terms...Beckfords a patsy...an honest patsy...not a kenwrong patsy..a Moyes pasty...but he 'worked'....is that honest enough?
