OK CALM DOWN

Just wondering if any one has heard anything (l.c.a.b.) but i go a phone call today saying a certain irish international striker rang and said moyes will be the next villa manager "get your money on". A bookie has slashed odds from 20-1 down to 4-1. I rubbished it straight up untill i seen it on a side bar on SSN. Looking for info and confirmation that i was right to rubbish it.

Hopefully a very bad rumour.

Ok, just to start i hope this is all rubbish, but i heard it and the bookies are closeing ranks so im going to pass it on. I dont know how true it is - so take it as usual forum rubbish.

Right i was in work today and got a call from a mate of mine who is closely related to an Irish player playing in the prem (same lad has told me stuff about bits and bobs in the past and been right), he told me the player in question had called him and told him to put whatever he could on David Moyes being the next Aston Villa manager - i thought he was the wind up as hes a red like most of the family.

Anyway i checked the odds as i was at a computer in work at about 12:00 and they were 8-1 with P Power. I thought nothing of it, after leaving work i met him and he showed me his betting slip where he had put a few hundread on Moyes, i checked the odds again on P Power and Moyes had massively closed in at 7/4.

Driving home i stoped in on Boylesports over here out of intrest and they had closed the book on it.

Like i say i hope all of this is rubbish - it could well be, it probably is, but im just passing on what i heard. Hopefully its a case of a bad rumour that caght fire and nervy bookies.

Surely this rumour does not need the wise one to personally come out and trash it.

Come on! Moyes to Villa?

Just reading on another forum that BIG money has been lumped on this outcome today - hence the price tumble.

They closed the book on Roy Keane signing for us.... then he signed for Celtic.
