Moyes - IN or OUT ?

How significant is finishing above the red side two seasons in a row?

I was just wondering whether the team's league performances since mid Jan (8w-8d-2l) have changed the way we feel about Moyes? Personally, I've always scrutinized his tactics, especially in big games, but he still is one of the best in the transfer market. Perhaps finishing above the other lot ,and recent emphatic performances, have helped sway me somewhat towards the Moyes IN brigade. Maybe he just needs an experienced right-hand man?

Has not changed my mind. I still believe a manager with a more positive approach would have our team playing better football the entire season and not just half of it. When Moyes stated after the United draw that he had gone there to win, he was clearly lying his pants off.
The positive is that Jelavic, Fellaini, Gibson, and Pienaar have shown him that attacking football wins you games, not setting back hoping for a lucky counter attack.

Still a definite "out" for me.

The first half of the season is/was indefensible. The surrender over the park, likewise. As for the semi....words can't sum up how I feel about that inept set-up thanks to him and his uber cautious mindset.

This bunch of players, when on the front foot, are a formidable opponent for anyone. The problem is Moyes, who too often reverts into his comfort zone of a defensive approach, worried about losing more than winning.

We need a new brush.

I have said Moyes out for a long time now but I have this starnge feeling we are going to hit the ground running next season

We have a genuine goal scorer we should have Piennar back and may have a couple of new additions to the squad come the first game in Aug

Saying that it wont suprise me if we get beat by Reading at home first game of the season and pick up our first win in November with mutli threads on here saying we are going down

Don't do it to yourself mate. It happens every year...

My opinion could go either way based on his actions in possible adversity this summer. At the moment though there's no concrete reason for me to say anything other than a firm IN. We've played scintillating stuff at times which, in my mind, has put to bed any notion that we can't play football with him in charge. Also, if we do get funds to spend through sales, I wouldn't want anyone else spending it.

I just want to see some solidarity and mental toughness through the summer and if things do go wrong, some positive signings suggesting we're not going to sulk until January again.

Nothing personal Moyesie but 10 yrs is enough.

Time for you to move and us to move on.

Martinez please before the RS get him

But ultimately this...

Maybe we can get someone else in til Jan, and Moyes can come back for the second half of the season, and cup games up to the qtrs only??

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic agrees to take charge of Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow.

Damn, this was my hopeful choice if moyes were to go. Sure he could have got a better job than lokomotiv ffs
