Moyes in or out?

I think it's comical to want him out. No way do we have the 9th best squad in the league, yet we are 9th, with no proper full-backs and two woeful strikers.

The style of football can be frustrating to watch but that's been the case for the majority of the past three decades...

We originally thought life would be better after Moyes, but it wasn't

West Ham thought life would be better after Moyes, but it wasn't

United thought life would be better after Moyes, it was, but not by much.

TLDR: Moyes is god, bow down to your daddy.

We need a poll!

That us the worry another poster irrespective who manages us he stated he preferred the two rich Evertonians had bought us out - but BK & the Mosh had left a financial utter mess - for them to achieve the buy out-
Then poster raised mild concerns that Roma would be the new owner main priority & would be happy with us sat in mid table as HD would be a nice cash cow for them ?

I did not believe that back then - but as it the season has unfolded even if they sacked DM their next Manager who is appointed would give us a better idea imo
He will be in place till the end of the season anyhow just feel sorry for the crowds at the HD having to watch that style of football & losing in that manner particularly last night ,!

I'm not looking to be top 5, not even top 10. I just want to see us have a bit of ambition and go out and try and win games. We're setting up at home like we're a bottom 3 team and we play like one too. When you can see before a game that the managers got it wrong and its happening game after game then somethings really wrong.
Would 11th make you happy ?

What a peculiar point of view

I think Moyes out. Going to a match costs a bomb, takes ages to get there. Football is miserable, always on a cold, wet midweek night. Would take a bit of attacking to drop down ahead of this miserableness.

Thought I'd start a thread and see what people are thinking.

For me I think we need to replace him in the Summer. I'm grateful for him coming in last year and putting some confidence into an under achieving squad but this year we haven't been good at all. Our league position flatters us and right now we're only heading in one direction. If you go on recent form theres a chance Leeds in 15th, 6 points behind us could catch us, thats how close this league is.

Nobody likes to admit it but the atmospheres dead in the stadium because we all know as soon as that line up comes out and we see the bizarre decisions hes making, we're in for a stinkfest. Fans need to stop blaming themselves, after a days work and a long night in a freezing cold stadium we deserve to see our team coming out to try and win, not watch a load of players playing out of position looking like they've never played together before.

This isn't building or looking at the future, the footballs actually worse than when Dyche was in charge. We have a manager doing press conferences saying hes aiming for Europe but then playing with no ambition at all.

Thanks for all you've done David, you're an Everton legend but its time to part ways.

Welcome to Grand Old Team mate.

I try and give new threads, even if on duplicate subjects a bit of time before closing them - mainly because we could do with more new threads on here but figure this discussion will be too close to the existing Moyes one.

So I'll close this one and suggest debate continues there.
