Moyes fumes, but Everton stars ask: Are you set to walk out?

If Moyes took our players 10 pin bowling, we'd have come back from that outing with at least two players with broken metatarsals (dropping ball on foot) and one with a hamstring injury (slipping on lane after foot foul).

They went bowling did they?

Well we trained like [Poor language removed] Ivan Drago in Rocky 4 for three days. Every shot we have will go in, every corner a danger, every tackle a bruiser!

Arteta has only cleared the 1st post with 1 corner all season that i can remember:lol:

If Moyes isnt gonna sign his contract I think he owes it to us to be honest about it. If he's gonna go, hurry up and do it so we can move on. Everything about Everton is a [Poor language removed] guessing game. Am sick to death of the speculation that surrounds this club of ours. Everyone from the board to the [Poor language removed] cleaner keeps you on your toes and I've had enough of it. Clear the air Moyesy the smoke screen gets on me nerves.

Were I Kenwrong I would tear the contract up now. I would then tell Moyes to get on with his job and earn his money.
This contract has, allegedly, been on the table since May with regular promises from Moyes that it will be signed in a couple of days.
How long does it take to sign a contract ? Added to that they are a waste of the paper they are written on because if somebody wants to leave they will one way or another.
It may involve a bit of compensation but that is all.

ive read that the stumbling block is that moyes wants more money allocated for scouting ,but the club want to pay less.

personally i think the chairman and the manager should be ashamed of themselves over there handling of virtually everything they have done in the past few months.
both have been awful since the end of last season and have turned a club that should have been a 'finely tuned engine' into a 'comedy clown car'.

i want the matter resolved one way or another , i want leadership and direction back at the club , wether that means the current manager/chairman sort there act out or we get a whole new regime in, things do have to change and fast.

This issue keeps floating up like a bad turd.

IMO it's definitely behind the charade of the summer and is now eating in to our season.

Moyes is the manager. It's his responsibility to lead, motivate and inspire. How can he if he's so clearly in two minds about his own future? In recent interviews he appears increasingly resigned to some impending fate and consistently uses ultimatum phrases like todays quote : 'it's make or break time' .. making or breaking what exactly Davey?

He has irrefutably been massive for the club over the years but this situation is also one of his making - it needs sorting and soon.

Agreed.

There's a good turd, then ?

Very interesting quote from the Independent's report of tonight's game:

Of his contract, Moyes offered few clues. "There might be a timescale, something might happen," he said. Asked to assure supporters he would remain at Everton, he said: "The supporters have known that for a long time."

"There might be a timescale, something might happen,"

worryingly zen.

"The supporters have known that for a long time."

Dig at the players. Suspect the dressing room leaders (Cahiil and Arteta) are out of sync with Moyes.

dark days. (n)

Worryingly vague more like.

Think you're reading a bit much into that, just him trying to reassure (mislead?) the supporters.
