I always think the whole manager excuse of "We'll have to see whats available..." is just a way to escape questions of "how much is available" etc

Surely he'll have a good idea.

Again? Oh....and here's me thinking we'd be rolling in it?

FFS Moyes you know that we aint got money to spend before you took your 60k a week pay cheque.

considers hibernating til September*

Relax, its all gonna be just A-OK.

We're ace now, imagine when Yakubu, Arteta and Jagielka return.

They'll be like new signings. And Vaughan and Anichebe.

We might have too many players at this rate. :P

Why is it called a war chest anyway? Does it have coordinates on how to invade Poland or storm the beach at Normandy or something? Couple of buckaneer swords in there?

Wouldnt be too arsed about that if that's the case.

To be honest, I didn't think we had the money last summer for a 15m signing, even with the sale of AJ.

Gotta say, I'm not expecting it again this summer. Don't think we need to break the club signing record. A few solid additions in the 5-7m range should fill out the squad nicely. Not to mention, as stated before, the players back healthy who are already blues.

Ive forgotten what transfer windows are like, Im goin into this dead set full of optimism.

MOUTINHO NAILED ON.

You heard it in this thread first. From Me.

Supposed Moyes was really serious about making a move for Tevez, but only at the cost of selling one of the club's major assets.

Who would you be willing to see go in order to bring in Tevez.

And Osman doesn't count. Someone major ... like Arteta, Yak, Cahill or Lescott or someone of the like.

Or would you not be willing to part with any of our players to guarantee Tevez's move to Goodison?

I wouldn't sell anyone to finance a purchase.

I think he'll have a bit of money to work with but it'll be all Bosmans with a bit of wheeling/dealing.
