Anyone else listen to Talk Sport 'Bo' time this afternoon? They were discussing the nastiness involved in the derby. They mentioned the horrible chants that the 'bitter' Everton fans were singing over and over and over again.
No mention of any of the sick abuse aimed at Carsley, Lescott, Neville etc. Just a joke.

i listened to talksport, no suprise that ian wright (the same mr wright who called us the most racist fans in the country) was giving us stick, they were going on about how derbies in other cities didn't have the hatred of a merseyside derby. no wrighty they've just spent the last 50 or so years of derby games meeting up to knock twenty shades of [Poor language removed] out of each other, stab each other and throw petrol bombs at pubs etc, even some glaswegian chipped in with a dig.
it seems that we may well come out of all of this looking just as bad as rs, we do sing offensive songs at opposition teams and supporters which mr. wright seems to think is totally wrong, well let him answer this, did he not have a little chuckle to himself when his adoring gonners we're waving tenners at us all and singing sign on, well you know what wrighty i did, i used to think you bastards but couldn't help a wry smile 'cos they had something to take the piss out of us with.

Imagine if that was Everton fans to Stevie G laa!! There would be a [Poor language removed] uproar, they'd have Gordon Brown and all of Scotland Yard at Goodison next week to catch the culprits. Their fans are scum. But Reidy, the opinions of the "legendary pundits" or for that matter, any other fans, shouldn't mean anything to us. Personally I dont care. Our reputation has been dragged through the mud for many years for various reasons, but one thing I am used to is being tagged along with the redshite, after their "antics" in the past we have always been seen with the same - totally unjustifiable, by the way - disdain. It's shocking.
