Well every manager says this as its the first thing they cross off their list. I even heard a man City supporter say ther were nearly safe now as theyd just about reached 40ptd. - This is not news just a statement of fact, not a suggestion of where you expect to finish.

well surprise surprise - City are better, Spurs & Liverpool have improved and other clubs may / may not be more competitive.

As its turned out with the exception of Newcastle, Liverpool & Spurs, none outside the top 4 are setting the world on fire, as such 7th is still well within reach.

1given the amount of cash that Man utd, City, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool get to spend it would be a major acheivement to finish above any of them as such 7th is a realistic aim with the possibility of higher should we be exceptional or some of the above be below par.
