Moyes as interim manager

Apart from panic where are you getting this feeling from?

I suppose because of the names being linked and the inaction that has gone on.

We are coming up to 48 hours since the debacle on Saturday. We are 6 days and counting until Leicester on Sunday and 9 days and counting to the derby.

To me, if they had began to ring through managerial candidates in say September and have any idea of who could come in if Marco were to leave, then I don't see any sense in delaying the sacking of Silva beyond 2 days. If for example Marcelino had indicated he'd take the job, on conditions x,y & z and we knew we'd be happy to meet them, to me there's little sense in the decision not being made to remove Silva and finalise that deal.

What seems more likely to me, is we haven't done the background now, and we are starting from day 1 today.

But in the end, we're all just speculating from a point of zero knowledge.

In my mind for the reason that he knows he's toast and we're aiming for as little chaos as possible as we know a new broom is incoming.

But then I'm an optimist.

I am an optimist too, but the longer it drifts from Saturday the more I think why would you leave it another game/2 games before replacing him?

If they are only now considering potential replacements, the only thing sadly that this is all filtering down to is that all of them - Moshiri, DBB, Kenwright, Brands are not up to it. That is the sobering reality.

It is very unlikely that we'll be pleasantly surprised with the outcome of this. Any serious candidate can see amateur hour a mile off, it doesn't matter what kings ransom would be put in front of them.

If Brands is not allowed to make the call then his position is completely irrelevant. Moshiri should stay out of football matters and Kenwright, well there isn't much more to say about him. And with all due respect, DBB will have about the same relevance and input into the decision as would Brands.

The groundwork to pave the way for Moyes is being laid as we speak and it looks like a stitch-up between Moshiri and Kenwright. They hope we'll be so desperate that we'll accept anybody now.

If the idea of having Brands at the club is to give the whole place a going over and have a consistent footballing identity, I fail to see how employing Moyes fits in with that strategy.
If it is Moyes then he couldn't find anyone else, most important thing is not having Silva at the club another day, but if Brands cant find better he isn't the man we thought

Rather have a no mark like Moyes than a no mark with zero managerial experience like helmet head Arteta.
Yet all my mates that are Arsenal supporters are praying they sack Emery and bring in Arteta. And although it's not unanimous from a deep dive of their fan boards, many Arsenal supports would support bringing in Arteta, although they acknowledge it's a risk

Yet he's not good enough for Everton
