Moyes and our youngsters

I'd draw a line there mate, he had his chance against Leeds and stunk the place out.

Vellios & Duffy definitely deserves better go's though, neither has ever let us down the times they've been in the team.
Weird one actually, he always looks promising playing for the U21's but in the first team he doesn't play as well.

Really don't think Vellios is good enough. You'd think he would at least be able to score goals for the reserves.
He changed games last season coming off the bench then all of a sudden we don't see him for months. Another Baxter/Wallace if you ask me.

I think most of our youngsters are average and not good enough or PL can see why he doesnt play them only Duffy IMO could get games atm.

Do you watch them in training or have some deep inside knowledge on the ability and potential of these youngsters? Or just making crap statements and pretending you know what's going on?

Surely that's a rhetorical question?

I've seen enough of Ross when he's been in or on fringes of the first team and his loans in Yorkshire to have a valid opinion that he's either not good enough (yet) for that level of football, or may never be. Yes, there's an argument to say if he doesn't play how will we know, but I'm convinced if he was setting training alight or smashing it up in the stiffs the players themselves would be making noises to get him drafted in. Rodwell was the same, and he possibly had 3-4 good games amongst an awful amount of ordinaryness ( and that hasn't changed at a new progressive Club sonits not a Moyes thing).
Duffy I would give a go.....most accomplished of the youngsters in my humble opinion, although Jagielka and Distin remain a decent pairing for me. Velios definitely worth a place on the bench as we have no other options and his enthusiasm has changed games before. Kennedy, by all accounts will be ripe for the first team squad on a regular basis next season.

So we should put the stiffs in the first eleven at the business end of the season because the owner cant rub together two penny's when it matters.

Yep that makes a lot of sense.
