Moutinho - all talk in here please.

Breaking News

In portuguese television channel someone has pointed one good question.

Moutinho seemed to have said that he has personal reasons to leave.

It is rumoured that those personal reasons are related to the wages offered to him.

If this is the case, then some serious issues may arise. The first one is: how can the player know how much are being offered in wages by a club who hasn't agreed terms with the player's current club?

This may have an opposite effect and instead of easing the business it may make it harder.

The chairman is yet to make a statement, but rumours are that Sporting won't sell and are prepared to bench the player. It has caused some disconfort amongst the board Moutinho's statement. Specially because he has signed a new contract not so long ago.

For today's match he is reported to have been dropped.

As a last resort a complaint against Everton may take place in UEFA and FIFA's instances on the basis of holding talks with the player without official permission of his current club.

Seems like the Soap Opera just started.

i wonder if all these bullshit will surface if we had make a bid of 18m

I think the kid came out too soon.

This way he has managed to create pressure on the board. The fans aren't happy and the chairman has to show some sort of control over the issue.

It's all politics, really. But in truth things were conducted quite differently from Man Utd conduct on Nani.

I remind you all that Queiroz had problems because he referred Veloso's name in the same week Sporting would attend to Old Trafford. The relationship between both parties have fallen since then. Even now that Queiroz has been appointed national team coach things are still in the same manner. He is considered "persona non grata" by Sporting's board of directors.

Speaking to some sporting fans, the same situation with barry is occuring, they are now starting to dislike him after the comments

Think we'll go up to £18M for him though? I doubt it, even with a possible £10M for AJ. If we can pay in installments perhaps. I wish though...

indeed. it's a balls up we can't keep him. god help us if the yak picks up an injury.

like it or not, aj is the first player (aside from rooney) to leave the team before his time.

i think we have seen the best of aj,10m is a good deal for everton football club i can count on my hand the number of good games he had for us , think we should try and get alonso from that lot he would be class alongside arteta

After all the events I'm not sure it will be easy to negotiate the deal Everton would have hoped for.

I think there is more to follow...

Is it only rumours or are they positive we've tapped him up?

I can't be arsed waiting to be honest, if it going to take ages negotiating I'd rather move on and get Fernandes in.
