even thought we are now 'loaded; and showing plenty of ambition etc etc etc , its still plucky old everton in the transfer market isnt it.

i dont want to sound negative, but its very very very very hard not too im afraid.

the rs land wjandum after a couple days speculation, and we cant land ANYONE of note after WEEKS and WEEKS and WEEKS off talk.

now we are having to look in the lost property bin for 2nd rate players. AS USUAL.

nothing has changed, regards our pulling power for decent players, that is blindingly obvious.

starting to get proper annoyed with it all.

Some of you are nuts. Sissoko is a quality player and a very sold midfielder with PL experience. £35m is high, but why does anyone care how much he is?. We have money to spend and if Koeman wants him then i'll trust him.

See my problem with a gun-ho attitude to money spending is that whilst it's not my money, I wouldn't want the Club doing a Leeds so to speak. We still should be prudent and look for bargains at good value.

So no it isn't my money but I would hate to see Everton suffer in the future because we wasted a shed load because 'we can'

Him as well as Wijnaldum, despite their talent are disliked by many Newcastle fans for their half arsed efforts last season, contributing to their relegation. For that reason alone I'm put off, we need work rate.

Like most people have already said, he's good but £35m is ludicrous. What's his position? He reminds me of a Rugby winger where he just boots it down the line and chances a foot race against the full back.

I really hope we don't get him. Hopefully we've got Hunter to release it to force Witsel into getting his arse into gear

Wijnaldum is proper crap though mate tbf

Rather spend weeks negotiating with actually good players than a few days and end up with utter ponies
