I should have picked Howard because of some of the stick hes been getting. But I may be the only one but Jags played well again today. Pienaar caught fire late in the game and was another worthy choice.

Tough one it really is.

No one played particulary well but no one played particulary bad either, no one really stood out so its hard to make a choice.

But i think i have to give it to Jags. Solid defensively and scored the winner :D

Thought the same.(y) Little things he does just all add up for me.
Heck I'd give it to the fan that were their also if they were listed. They were awesome cheering us on.

Everyone = Heroes. What can I say. Every single one of them stood up to be counted today. Couldn't possibly choose one.

COYB!!!!!!!!!

Hibbert had trouble keeping with up with the pace of the United kids. Jags not only took care of his responsibilites but bailed out Hibbo time and time again.

Would have voted for Howard but Berbatov's 1st pen was Anekla-like, it was like he couldn't have been bothered. Rarely have I saw a Fergie player who always looks like he'd rather be elsewhere. I'd sell him and keep Tevez.

To be honest, I thought we played poorly throughout. If it wasn't for Man U's woeful end product, or poor selection, it would have been Man U win. Let's not get carried away.

Surprised we won on pens, but it had to happen one day.

Would have voted for Pienaar as he never stopped running. Showed great commitment. After the penalties, it can only be Tim Howard though.

Special mention for James Vaughan also. Hope he can stay fit as he looks a threat every time he plays.

I dont think anyone had a particularly stand out performance during the open play so had to go for Howard for the shoot out closely followed by Jags
