was i really the only vote for anichebe???? in his short time on the pitch he completely changed the game. first he wins us a corner, then shoots a shot that surely would have been in had it not been deflected for another corner, which is where our goal came from.

jags wanted it for sure, but he also missed the tackle leading up to the penalty leaving baines by himself (granted the penalty was meaningless in the end, but it certainly dented the teams confidence)

without anichebe, that game would have never changed, we would have had two immobile lumps up front the whole time who did nothing, and liege would have glided to a comfortable 2, maybe 3-nil lead

Jags for me but the whole game was depressing, nothing to get excited about - worse than an episode of Gardeners World.

apart from the own goal at stoke, jags has been our best player all season. little bit more work on his passing maybe, but he's starting to be our new dave watson.
and big praise to the niche again, his work rate is fantastic in big matches.

Jagielka is my choice.

And i never want to see Baines in an Everton shirt again, he's worse than Gary Naysmith.

I agree with you, he gets my vote as well.
