Phil Neville or as the complete and utter tosser who sat next to me all game called him "Gary", go on Gary, sort it out Gary, ALL GAME, not just once!!! And he wasnt joking, he also called The Yak "Joey" a good few times, but i thought the Nevster had a decent game, so im gonna vote him.

sounds like you may have been seated next to a journo from the dailly mirror :D

close call between two

castillo was solid, won the ball well and seem to grow as the game went on.

jag's second half performance was inspired.

i'm plumping for jags

I chose Jags as he was doing Lescott's job as well as his own. The way Joleon played tonight hurt me. I hope it is not honeymoon season syndrome.

Castillo came a very close second for me, with Ossie third.

Castillo would have won it for me except for the fact that I wanted him to look for more passes instead of being blinkered towards the goal more often than not. But on the same note I am glad we have a holding mid that can drive a bullet like he can.

Ossie will get many MOTM's this season as soon as his fitness is back to full tank.

Castillo was outstanding! He passed it so neatly to get it out of our area and he was solid in tracking a man and tackling as well. To top it off he scored a [Poor language removed] CRACKER!

The Yak was fantastic for me are begining to expect from him instead of appreciate, Arteta showed some great guild but is easily identifyable as our main creative source!

for me i`d give it to Ossie, thought he kept us ticking over when things wernt going to well and slipped the pass for Yak to score.Yak and Vic played well the Yak dropping deep a lot.Jags got better and better as the game went on .Castillo had a very good game and his goal was a bullet,

I've voted for Arteta ahead of Ossie and Jags. Can't understand the praise for the Yak though - scored a good goal but for me didn't do a lot more, coming too deep or too wide.

Great to see Gary:D Neville having another decent game too. My mom at Stoke and another excellent display tonight.

Other than Lescott's nightmare, it's really quite hard to pick fault with the rest of the team who seem to be getting their act together in style.

Give it another couple of weeks and we will be flying!

Gotta be Segundo, went about his job without any hassle, just like Carsley would have.
Honorable mentions to Ossie, Jags and Mikel.

I don't care if you forget his is on the pitch for 89 and a half minutes and then pops up and scores a goal. That is what he does. He also had a couple of shots that went OH-SO-CLOSE!!!!
