I think Rodwell coped very well in the first half. It's not his fault that things fell apart in the second. For that, we need to look at the more experienced players and the manager. So Rodwell for me, solely because I saw in him the makings of something decent.

I'll go for Fellaini, first half he looked great. Superb control and passing, won some headers as well, really got involved and helped us play as well as we did.

It certainly was a game of two halves. I think it would be a much tougher decision if asked who was the best player in the first half. Not too many pulled through for the whole 90 minutes unfortunately.

I went for Fellaini, he won countless headers, played a tidy game and got stuck in more than he usually does for us. He has shown a lot of improvement over the past few games he has played for us and I think he will only get better as time goes on.

Rodwell also had a great game which is extremely pleasing! 17yrs old, starting away at Arsenal and putting in a good performance is excellent for him and the club.

Thats two great future midfielders for Everton.

Howard looked back in form pulling off some superb saves. He also deserves some credit for how he played.

God knows, im gonna pick Arteta, the way he ran the game and was always on the ball was amazing, oh wait.....................

Im gonna say Howard, for his wondeful saves, all in vain.

Agree with all the posts so far Howard, Jags, Rodwell, Fellaini and Piennar all looked pretty good but I've gone for Tony boy coz I saw him doing what he does best and he's always getting [Poor language removed]. So It's only right he gets a mention when he does his job well.

I agree, Tony had a good game by his standards and it was class the way he got a grip of that little tart who tried it.

It was risky under the circumstances, given that we needed to keep eleven men on the pitch. But it was funny, I'll admit that

Hibbertle for me aswell. If anything just for scaring the [Poor language removed] out of Clichy and me when he took a page out of the book of Dunc.
