Lots of excitement/trepidation with today's news. I got to wondering, who has the most to gain and who has the most to lose with the appointment of Roberto Martinez? Present players and staff and potential players and staff included.
Gain: Obviously the young players on the fringes of the squad - Barkley, Duffy, Vellios?
Oviedo - Still young too I guess, but somehow I see the language connection paying off
Jelavic - attacking football, maybe a bit more freedom to be poacher, and possibly even a strike partner
David Moyes - any signs of trouble, the fans will start singing his name, retelling his stories of triumph
Lose: Osman - I just can't see Osman being a guaranteed starter anymore.
Alan Stubbs - Will Martinez trust Stubbs with such a strong academy? I doubt it.
Liverpool - just being optimistic here, but how about we win a derby or two or three
