Herman’s Hermits for me.

All their songs sound the same....even during their “edgy” period, which lasted about two months in 1969, when they thought recording Bowie’s “Oh You Pretty Things” would give them some cred.

It didn’t.

They made that classic sound as bland as No Milk Today or A Kind Of Hush.

Peter Noone’s toothy grin concealed a distinct lack of talent IMO.
