He single handedly changed the mood of Merseyside derbies. The exceptions were 84 Milk Cup and Charity Shield, and 89 Cup Final.

Otherwise a nastiness came over many rs that was not there before his 'tragic' blurting in front of many Evertonians who had come out to congratulate the rs EC win.

Still, may he RIP. Apparently he apologized afterwards.
