Most despised opponent

Suarez all day long, genuinely bad person.

However, I can't believe people are still salty over Son's challenge all these years later. Yes, it was a snide challenge but it's not the kind of challenge that usually results in a broken leg or serious injury, you see similar challenges every weekend, most of the time no one is getting injured. From memory the problem was with how he fell after the intial challenge, it was incredibly unlucky although obviously you could argue he never falls weirdly if he isn't fouled in the first place but fouling is a part of football.

I know there was the weird outcry of sympathy for Son rather than Gomes but that's not his doing, that's just internet weirdos doing their thing. You can see from his reaction he was pretty distressed about it, although im sure someone will try and claim he can cry on cue lol.

If Andre Gomes can forgive him within a day of the injury occurring I reckon some of our fans should maybe look at doing the same five years later or however long it's been.
It's the reaction of the media/fans that fuelled the Son thing 100%

Even if it was a bit of a freak injury, you only have to watch it back to see that Son sprints to the other side of the pitch to take him out after being dispossessed. He absolutely intended to hurt him (note: not injure him).

To then have everyone go "he's not that type of player" "poor Son" etc. is annoying to see.

Gerrard.

The quintessential gobshite. Everthing about the man is grim - violent bully, arrogant, self obsessed, overinflated, sly, no integrity whatsoever. It was the greatest piece of cosmic justice that he was denied ever being a league winner, largely down to his own hubris.

One of my my happiest memories was that ringpiece knee sliding the width of Goodison to celebrate with the orcs just to have the goal ruled offside.

Horrible human being.
We do not let this slip now

Promptly slips

I couldn't have written it better if I'd tried

The little dogleash GIFs doing the rounds later were just the icing on the cake

My favourite part of that whole collapse was him mugging for the cameras when they beat city, and then pushing them away when they UTTERLY SHAT THE BED AT PALACE.

Emlyn Hughes for obvious reasons.
Allan Clarke of Leeds was the player I disliked the most due to his ankle tapplng/Achilles damaging party piece. Just a cowardly so and so that I wanted opposition defenders to boot all over the pitch.
