Ah, of course—‘how can I hijack this and make it about me?’ Just shut up and let whatever ‘legacy’ you think you have speak for itself. This is all before the final game at a ground that stood long before you and your Kremlin-loving war criminal mates showed up, turning a blind eye to massacred children in Ukraine while scrambling to please Moscow.Sky sports news tomorrow 1100..documentary on leaving goodison for bmd featuring our former owner
I can't hate anyone who's heart was in the right place and meant well.
Football wasn't for him though, not the ownership side of it anyway.
Yes that's a pointWas his heart in the right place when he tried for 18 months to sell us to 777 and send us under?
Done more to redevelop Goodison and the surroundings than Kenwright ever did, he done good things away from the pitch, unfortunately he never had the people around him to be successful on it. Can’t think of many people who buy a football and let the fella who sold it stay in. It was always in Kenwrights interest for him to fail.
Appointing FSW.
That was the turning point as club then became bottom half team with relegation near misses. A really poor decision and he should've known better.
Think he was a bit like Lerner at Villa all those years ago. Started off well spending big money and appointing decent managers even if the structure behind it wasn't great e.g. summer 2017 and Koeman.
Then lost interest and started making rash decisions with managers. At least once that happened the club was sold fairly quickly rather than more years of being stuck in no man's land.
