Moshiri

Nice to see he’s “checked back in” at least, after not wanting to know for the last 3 years of his stewardship.

He should be allowed to attend a game at BMD to be pelted with bottles of piss.

Maybe he`s staying with @ForeverBlue92 at his commune on the banks of the Mersey at Pickerings Pasture ?

You have to remember, the Mosh Man got this.

I remember Blue Bill jumping out of his seat when when scored a late goal against Arsenal first game of the season August `09, we lost 1-6 at home.

People will say nonsense like "he should be allowed to see the stadium he brought to life" when nobody is stopping him. He could easily put his hands in his grubby pockets and pay for a box if he doesn't want to mingle with us plebs.
He put couple hundred million into the club, lot of that to fund the stadium so I think he's paid for a ticket.

As has already been pointed out, football wise, he was a disaster.

The stadium, however, means he has a very positive legacy to look back on. For that I am appreciative, even if the football side was abysmal.
I do suspect that ten years from now he will be remembered more fondly when people kinda forget the stress and horrors of these last few years.

Well there's no such thing as a Billionaire accountant.

So you're most likely correct. But he got us the iconic waterfront stadium, where the other fool failed to do so.

The push for 777, MSP, and whoever else wanted us was clearly an instruction. But the backing got the stadium. No one will remember the incompetence of the last few years in 25 years, everyone will remember the stadium. Which is why it's his legacy.

What on earth does this mean?

He should have booted that fraud kenwright on day 1 and brought in professionals. Turfed out baxendale who was only there as a bill puppet.

Amazing levels of naivety from a multi millionaire keeping those idiots around. Mist have cost him hundreds of millions.
I understand keeping BK initially because he knew everyone as he'd been a board member or owner for almost three decades by that point. Buying a new company and booting all the old employees out is one of the stupidest things you can do (because you really can't know as an outsider what everyone brings to the table before you have spent some time there). What he should have done, once it became obvious Kenwright was meddling with things he shouldn't would have been to get rid at that point with best wishes. Like, say, a year later. Would have also given time for new management to learn the ropes.

People still trying to put Moshiri and Kenwright up against each other in big massive 2025.

Moshiri clearly rated Kenwright’s stewardship of the club. Otherwise he wouldn’t have kept him around and then begged him to stay despite being on his deathbed.

Well, it was widely disputed that Usmanov was the person with the money.

He sat in the interviewing room when Lampard was appointed. He regularly "gifted" property, artwork to Farhad.

Then sanctions came and despite Moshiri not being implicated, the money dried up. Usmanovs assets, Frozen. So they were clearly just trying to get anything and whatever to retain money..the commotion. Of it means we got a stadium, but doesn't take much to join the dots here.

So the fact that Usmanov illegally owned the football club while also owning shares in Arsenal, and had to hide in the shadows for years while we pretended this idiot accountant was funding our stadium and writing off all our losses, was ultimately the reason that we had to allow gangsters to load £400m of fraudulently obtained debt onto the football club that nearly ended our existence?
